Refugee-led organizations are often the only source of vital support for refugees in cities—but these groups face many challenges. Created out of the urgency to serve their communities, they lack formal organizational structure and access to resources. This is where URBAN REFUGEES comes in.
Our first collaboration with Afghan Community Center in Kuala Lumpur led to this refugee-led organization doubling its annual budget creating 4 new programs in just 6 months, benefiting over 600 urban refugees.
