Jeffrey joined URBAN REFUGEES to lead US-based fundraising efforts for the organization. He is experienced working both with large, international donors and grassroots non-profit organizations. He has lived and worked in Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal and Kenya. Most recently, Jeffrey worked for the Open Society Foundations, where he facilitated grantmaking to civil society organization in Myanmar, and managed a portfolio on the Rohingya ethnic minority. He studied International Economic Policy and Management at Columbia University’s School for International Policy and Administration.
